Apparatus and Meterials needed: Mounting board Sticks Standing fan Protractor (XL) Long ruler Pen knife cardboard box Experimental Procedure Setup: 1.Cut the mounting board into the e of 30cm x 10cm 2.Stick the stick onto the mounting board 3.Tilt it to the angle of 180 degrees 4.Poke the sticks into a cardboard box Make sure the box can rotate freely. 5.With the fan blowing at a distance of 1metre away, time how long it takes for it to turn 5 rounds 6.Repeat step 3 to 5 with a few different angles 7. observe the results Independent Variable: Angle of the blade Dependent Variable: How long it takes for the blade to turn 5 rounds Controlled Variables (constants): 1.length of blade 2.distance of fan from blade 3.length how much of stick was poked into the cardboard box. |
